I love this, thanks for the write up. I got a pixel 7, put graphene on it, and am planning on making it my daily driver, and will be switching my sim card from old to new phone tomorrow, haven't done that in a while so I hope everything works.
Could you just bring a portable hotspot with, and then use voip, when you need to make calls?
I'm not going to go there. The birth rate is plummeting, with serious consequences.
Are you trying to convince yourself, or someone else? Why?
Also - I believe that MOST people who have been propagandized/influenced to NOT have kids end up regretting it.
Created with a coin - you mean flipping a coin, heads or tails? I haven't heard of that idea. Dice rolls seem to be a lot more popular. I wouldn't do anything that's so non-standard.
The Seedsigner, and the Seedsigner community is great. It's funny how little you hear about it considering what an awesome little device it is. I guess it's the fact that they have no marketing department.
I'm torn on the whole passphrase or not idea. It seems equivalent to a 2 of 2 multisig. What makes you incline that way? I assume the seed phrase and passphrase would be stored separately?
I read on a forum, one of the P2P sellers mentioned he buys on KYC platforms, and sells immediately P2P, just for the arbitrate opportunity.
Yes, and the Known Physical Bitcoin Attacks list is not complete/not being updated properly.
It has some recent info, but there's also some that are not included, for whatever reason.
Oh really...
So there wasn't in the past couple years MASSIVE discrimination against people who didn't want to tie a rag over their mouth and nose? And people who didn't want to inject an experimental substance in their arms?
Current nutritional advice - meat and saturated fat is bad, fruits and veggies are great, whole grains are great, fiber is great. This advice is a load of garbage.
If you're interested in learning more, read the book The Big Fat Surprise, by Nina Teicholtz.
I wrote a post on this book a while back.
If you don't want to read the whole thing, just look for interviews with Nina Teicholtz, she has some great ones out there.
An interesting case in point is libraries. Everyone nowadays thinks that libraries MUST be funded by the state.
But lending libraries originated as private companies. They were often really low budget, people had memberships, they had just a short opening time each week, people would come at that time and check out a book for a week.
I'm just reading Victor Klemperer's book I Will Bear Witness, memoirs of a German Jewish professor in Nazi Germany. The government libraries were the first ones to deny entrance to Jews. He was able to use private lending libraries for a while after being denied entry to the government libraries.
Theory - governments will force retirement funds (401k, etc) to purchase government bonds.
Isn't this what they did in Zimbabwe and Argentina?
True, stacker news is great. But when the price spikes there's usually something that happened, and I just want to understand that.
I poked around a bit - maybe it's updated CPI:
"Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView showed local highs of $64,700 for BTC/USD after the Wall Street open.
Bitcoin bulls received a boost from the latest United States Consumer Price Index (CPI) print, which beat expectations in a win for risk assets. Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite Index hit all-time highs."
Thanks for the comment. Better than Phoenix? Why in particular? Other than...phoenix is pulling out of the US...
Thanks for the comment. Is this meant for people running public nodes, or would it be suitable for private (personal) nodes as well?

Thanks, I just saw the anti-bot verification and passed, it was a bit hidden.
Np. I rearranged the bullet points just before I sent, what I meant to say on the first bullet point is that those offers (US Strike, EU Revolut, etc) are all on robosats and bisq.
Couple thoughts:
- Do you have access to other currencies besides Indian Rupee? US or EU revolut or strike account or something? Then you have access to all the US or EU offers, which are plentiful.
- I don't see any Indian Rupee offers in robosats, but maybe try actually MAKING an offer there. It can be a little challenging but there's a very good telegram channel for robosats, people are helpful.
- Same thing with Bisq. Ask on the telegram channel.
Thanks for this, looks amazing. Wow, that Berlin group seems to have multiple events a week and sometimes a day! Lots of action there...
Also I did some poking around and found this - https://einundzwanzig.space/meetups/. Lots happening.
