I hadn't even made that connection with Butler being the only one without a ring yet. You could add PG-13, Harden, and Westbrook to this conversation then. All three have shown a willingness to play more restricted roles as they've gotten older.
Are there any particular moves you're expecting to see?
This is one of the formative instances for me of the regime treating people like they're crazy for asking reasonable questions based on readily available information.
Right. The point is that economic policies have the same type of consequences even when they're implemented in different places.

Do you think any of the older guys will be willing to take on lesser roles to compete for a title?
I think Jimmy would happily take on a role where he's primarily playing defense and providing secondary playmaking.
@Bell_curve, somehow our pick wasn't even the worst one.

That's interesting. The Mavs won me over, so I was rooting for them at the end.
My perception was that it was such incredible ball control to hold on through contact and still get the shot up that I was glad he got to take the free throws.
We should solicit opinions about the SGA foul that decided the game (sort of).
I thought it was clearly a foul, but apparently that's controversial. What did you think?

I don't think the old guys are done with super teams. Don't be surprised if two or three of the guys on that list are teammates next year.
I've been hearing speculation about Lebron to Philly and KD back in GS.
I also feel like Steph is still capable of leading a title team, as well as Lebron, but I don't know if either are in situations that will allow it.
I imagine so, since the IRS has taken him to court several times and lost all of their criminal cases.

I'll do that one first. We talked about it in the comments on one of your posts, but it's a fun topic.
Our daughter's imaginative play has really blossomed over the past year. She goes on and on telling stories (often when we're trying to get her to go to sleep).
Sometimes, they're super fantastical, with dinosaurs and outer space and whatnot. Other times, they're really mundane stories about her friends from school doing an art project or other routine activity. Either way, though, the stories are told with the same amount of verve.
One of the really adorable things is that she often incorporates words and phrases that she clearly got from us: i.e. referring to a hurt stuffed animal as "My darling" in exactly the same way her mom calls her that when she gets hurt.
I share your and @kepford's opinion on this, so my reaction to these people is usually "Cool story, bro". That usually prevents me from getting sucked into an argument about it.
One addendum I'd make is that sometimes people like this guy get lucky by drawing a judge who will listen to the technical legal arguments without regard to impact on the regime.
Did you watch the video?
I thought he pretty clearly stated that the issue is signing a 1040. His assertion is that if you don't do that you don't have to pay.
You hint at a key point that hadn't occurred to me: if this is correct and practicable, why are the rich people with all their personal lawyers and accountants still paying federal taxes?
We know that they get away with all kinds of stuff, so wouldn't they get away with this?
Although, this also makes me think about all the government officials who turn out to have not been paying taxes. Maybe they do know this stuff and it does work, but they want to keep it quiet.
