Good Luck in Week 7!
@pj is hacking. or he's got an in with Ohtani's interpreter
reply
He took the A's this week. He either feels bad for us or he sees the future.
reply
Lol I threw all my chips in on the 'Stros! FIgured it I was going to go out I was going to go out with the home team!
reply
Playing the A's for 4 but then the Brewers. Need to have 3/4 vs A's.
reply
Knowing how this team operates they will lose all 4 against the A's but sweep the Brewers just to make me mad
reply
Could be worse. You could be a Blue Jays fan. At least the West is still within reach if the Astros turn it around. Blue Jays sitting in last 8.5 games out with 3 against the O's and 3 against the Rays this week. Could be ugly a week from today.

OAK is definitely a long shot. So I'm hoping for a split with HOU and a series win against KC. As a Giants fan, I try to watch as little MLB baseball as possible, because I like the hair that I have left on my head.

Alrighty the ‘Stros have already surprised me by winning the first game… I figured at best we would win the last couple so I’m kinda impressed… could we be turning a corner?!?!
Rangers... Jesus. Started off the week well, before getting swept by the Rockies of all teams. Not good
reply
Yeah tough beat. That's baseball. Sometimes good teams lose to garbage teams. I think the three strike rule to counteract this fact is working pretty well.
reply
I am trying to figure out how Cleveland lost 3 of 4 from the freaking White Sox of all teams...
reply
Baseball be like that sometimes.
reply
Wouldn't be fun to win without the fear/feeling of defeat... But then again winning all the time would be pretty fun, so not sure what I am trying to to say.
reply
A couple tough weeks for you. First the Blue Jays blow up against the Nationals last weekend and then the Rangers poop the bed against the Rockies.
BTW Manoah was great yesterday. Go figure. He gave up 3 runs but all unearned due to an error. Pitched 7 innings had 6Ks.
reply
I better deploy a more thoughtful strategy going forward.
reply
My strategy has worked well. I have only used the Phillies and now Yankees this week which leaves me 3/5 the top teams remaining plus a few other good options to use when the schedules line up right.
reply
Siggy and bellcurve in a similar position to me with one strike and a number of top teams left.
reply
Which ones are the top teams? The ones at the top of the standings? I think I've used quite a few of those haha
reply
The 5 best teams are Dodgers, Phillies, Braves, Orioles and Yankees. There are other good teams but I think these teams are a cut above the others.
reply
Yep. I've used 4 out of the 5 top teams you listed. That strike from the first week scared me real good that I went on a top teams picking spree.
reply
That was a tough one.
reply
@Bell_curve we got a little lucky this week. Giants blew a two run lead late but won it in 11 yesterday to save us from a strike,
