oh that's nice, appreciate it!
Everyone has given great suggestions. I echo the sentiment, "it doesn't really matter, just dive in." Your curiosity and reverence for the work will be the only equipment you'll need. I think very fondly of the time I took a college course on Shakespeare. Something that really enriched the experience was to watch an adaptation film as soon as I'd finished reading.
This is an interesting question. Interesting to consider what it would take to make SN a full time job as a contributor. There's more you can get zapped for than just posting content, so a strategic person could leverage all the ways of manipulating SN for profit. Hmmm....
The things that make you popular and profitable at other sites won't work here. There's a delicate incentives scheme, and it is very precious to me. Don't fuck with it haha.
It's a good thing you've found SN! Original writing gets a lot of love on this site. Personally, I'm stoked on it.
I do want to share with you that there is hope, because at one point this is exactly what my partner could have said about me, but then I changed along with him and it's the best adventure I've been on
Hello I welcome you and I have a tip for you! you have used the wrong version of "apart" which is separate from. So in this case, I think you would mean to say "be a part of" as one of the whole. sorry I know it's annoying to police grammar, but this is one where you end up saying the opposite of what you mean. People do it all the time, just kinda interesting
perhaps she could change, no? maybe she could see herself included in the picture of the life you want, especially if this picture is attractive, although it may be hard to imagine now
I put a dying plant in a bottle of water. I was sure it wouldn't survive, and sure enough, its single leaf shriveled and fell. Well, too lazy to remove it, I left it sitting on my plant stand surrounded by other plant life I've successfully maintained. Today I noticed, after a month or so, a new leaf has grown up out of its bulb, and multiple strands of roots are curling around in the bottle. Proves I'm not the author of what lives and dies. Thankful for that fact.
