What Bitcoin Did, of course.
Great news, can't wait to test it.
No way to recover with a passphrase or something else?
At least via e-mail, instead of the phone number...
Phone numbers are personally identifying information.
To be fair, LN is a payment network.
I find WoS a brilliant and well-executed application for its purpose: Send and receive payments, minimum fuss, minimum fees.
If the amount you have is more than pocket money, either send it to a self-custodial LN wallet (if you're gonna need it soon), or an on-chain wallet for longer-term storage.
Blink seems pretty cool, but it requires a phone number to "sign up"...
This pretty much ruined it for me...
Very cool UI, the dual balance part is pretty awesome.
How does the usd part work?
Does it require KYC and works with an e-money institution, or is it through stablecoins? If so, which network and stablecoin?
I already run an bw-lndhub on my node, is that enough to pair with my boltcardwallet and create bolt cards?
Or do I need a boltcard-lndhub?
"Full RBF means that zero conf on-chain e-commerce apps are no longer a good idea for the merchants and market operators."
zero conf on-chain was never a good idea, even without RBF...
The only problem I see with this is that when you are looking for something, you have to search a shitton of data.
From my testing in Coracle, searching for stuff is very slow and most of the time never finished.
A quick duckduckgo for "Open Bitcoin Wallet" returns "bitcoinwallet.com", which seems very sketchy, and other irrelevant results.
I can't even find OBW except from your links.
Even searching for "open bitcoin wallet github", doesn't find this OBW project.
You can only find it with "OBW wallet" and even then, it's not the first hit, which is very risky for newcomers...
If the team behind open bitcoin wallet wants their software to be adopted, they have to change the name.
We should somehow standardise the donate@example.com address for donations to projects.
Thus, an easy way to donate would be to pay thru LN to donate@asats.io, without asking for donation addresses etc.
Out of curiosity, can't one do that already using the lntipbot in reddit?
Deposit to it from an LN wallet, withdraw to a different LN wallet, sats history lost.
Or am I missing something?

Yes it could, but an uncovered RFID private key is like asking for trouble.
A card, kept in a RFID-blocking case would be more secure and convenient.
