Most definitely I have the seeds saved securely. That's one thing I know for sure to do with anything/everything crypto-related. Skip that crucial step and you're screwed.

I'm running albyhub on a dedicated cloud VM.

I know my ablyhub version is a bit behind and I need to update it. I should probably do that.

I've never done an update on it since I first set it up, so I'm a bit nervous that it won't go well and I'd lose sats that I have on it. From what I can tell, there's no easy way to do it since I deployed it as an image on a render.com service. I neglected to take notes as to how I went about that, and would need to re-figure that out to do it all over again...

Seeing any problems with yours today? My computer froze up last night and did a very unpleasant reboot, then got stuck at a message with something like "installing updates... do not powercycle... 97% complete" ...for hours. I got tired of waiting for it to do it's thing, went to bed.

Woke today and found that everything I've tried so far is working ok, except for being able to send zaps using Alby firefox extension.

Logged into my albyhub directly and confirmed that I was able to send LN transactions out from there.

I'm still unable to get the Alby firefox extension to behave properly again regardless of fiddling with it for an hour. Smh.

Today I made an image using GIMP that I thought was worth sharing since it was my first time ever making an image using a layer mask. It's not perfect, but I'm proud of having figured out how to do it. I even went a step further and made a custom QR code for it that actually scans. When my cat was laying on the side table where the Echo device was, I asked Alexa to make a purring sound. It spooked my cat so bad that I don't think he's ever gone back onto that side table again since.

And I hereby apologize for my immature actions and words that I said when I got my first Amazon Alexa device. I was only saying all of those rude things to see how you (Alexa) would respond. I did not mean any of the things I said and I am sorry that I said those things to you, Alexa.

That's why I now always try to be polite and respectful during all of my AI interactions. Assume everything is being recorded and analyzed and every little thing you do goes on your permanent-AI-record.

I had just recently started shilling albyhub since it's been a great experience since I set up albyhub in Sept 2024. Looks like I'll need to stop shilling it for now.

wss://relay.getalby.com/ looks to be the problem.

What can we do to avoid this and similar outages in the future? I can/will deploy more servers if need be. Downtime is unacceptable and I will go to crazy lengths to eliminate all single points of failure.
