I was thinking about the same, I have always been suspicious about eSIM phones.
How can anybody tell if this is not a honeypot?? That will be a fair place to start, maybe they are legit but I don't know...

The NSA does (?)
I don't agree, I think it should be Briar for anything that doesn't require more than sharing text or images.
I've heard some concearning things about Matrix but take me with a grain of salt
Have you tried Blixt? afaik is like Phoenix but you can manage who you open channels to, a full LN node in your phone.
I'm using Phoenix for now, but is the next on mi list!

Your question deserves a lot more academic attention I think, I really don't know how we got "used to" this inflation but maybe it has to do with all the propaganda that is feed into the news and willful blindness
I think for some people the Bitcoin journey will start backwards. Playing with "magic internet money" and after a lot of time they will end up as sovereign individuals.
That is for some, those "orangepilleable" ones, othes just won`t get it, never, period. And maybe it is the way things needs to be, who knows... they will just go along with the masses, but rest asure someone needs to start that fire.
Just tell them how government works with the help of the good old Ron Swanson:
they can take it from there...
Why? easy, imoi:
- Bitcoin is a solution to a series of problems many don't think they have.
Show them the problem and they will ask for Bitcoin.
As an Argie myself I can confirm this 100%, is just the way how masses of people learn, you trhow them a problem an they develop over time social institutions that solves that problems, for us until Bitcoin it was fleeing the Peso and saving in dolars (cash, never in banks) and this is a "know how" developed after several crisis.
Painful learning, but the most antyfragile learning.
I feel the same moral imperative. I'm making tiny business cards to share with merchants for this same reason, at least to spark the curiosity in some of them and give the necessary tools to those who want but don't know how to start their orange journey.
"everybody fails to do the jump the first time" - Matrix
Is true for almost all bitcoiners, why would be any different for a platform? IMO They will fail until the first of the big platforms adopts the future.
I think nostr will benefit greatly by using the stacker news model of "pay-to-do", you don's suscribe to a server but leverage the micro tx hability of LN to pay per note, pay per reaction.
I think that the Zapp will kill the "like" buttom, so having it now could be an example of skeumorphism.
In a more sophisticated approach we might want to think about where a relay operator expends the most and monetize in the bases of that. Is it bandwith? is ti storage? a combination of both?
A bit of perspective
