It's different and new, yes. One must learn new things. It's not technical or hard to get. It's just new.
But I understand there's a hurdle. So is learning facebook or twitter or whateverthefuck. Takes 5-10 minutes to get acquainted.
Will gramma 70+ get an account? Nope. She needs your help with tik-tok.
I mean, come on.
I don't get this really. It's not that technical.
To get an account, go to any nostr app and create one. On most it'll tell you "save this nsec and keep it secure". Done.
Most will even say: get alby or nos2x extension and create an account there and use it to log in. Done.
How the fuck is that technical. Man the bar is low 😅
Code.
Just code.
Like, a lot.
How?
Well, do projects.
What projects?
Good tools, stupid ideas, fun things etc...
Just code.
Personally I did
- My personal website
- My bands website
- A shitty social media thing, kind of Facebook but dumb
- Another shitty social media thing in another framework
- Some Rock Paper Scissors MMORPG which constantly broke because I tried to write all multiplayer things from scratch in c++ haha, fuck me that sucked 😅
- Some other shitty web site
- A program to help me write my blog posts, in my json format, for my website
- Some games with different tools
- Some android apps, one larger exercise tracker
- A million smaller scripts / tools
And then I also did a lot of competetive programming and things like
- Adventofcode (this is the best)
- Codingame
- Kattis
- And a million other of these types of things
Plus, I did join different hackathons like gamejams et.c and I really recommend going to these because of how it is
- Fun
- Networking
- Networking
Then you can read some books. I highly recommend
- Clean code
Learn to write clean code. Learn to write tests. Learn to write simple makefiles to run maintenance things.
Just. Code.
Like, a lot.
But most importantly: Have fun.
The OP_RETURN code allows anyone to write messages into Bitcoin.
I wouldn't recommend it really, but it really is a possibility.
Edibles!
I most often just grill them, you could also slather some nice batter on them and deep fry. Cauliflower is dang tasty!
I just put like 30 flower bunches in water with some lemon slices and sugar for some days to make an elder flower juice concentrate. It's the perfect taste of childhood.
Yes
But way into the future when it can be proper open source stuff. So probably not in my life time.
I want to be a cyborg, so far I only have an RFIDchip in my hand so I won't be inspector gadget any time soon :(
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't — you're right.

A quote fixed to my wall when I grew up, and I hate it because it's annoyingly true.
1,000,000 sats is my jam too. In a high fee environment that'd be reasonable to send from cold storage to a LNwallet.
