ALSO - my friends and I host an event called NOTNFTNYC to counter the official NFTNYC event every year.
We have sold out Theaters and one of the rooms inside the World Trade Center. This year we gave away a ton of sats, gold bars, and play stations.
Idk how to link up w outside of here, but if youre ever interested in participating, let me know.
Yo THIS IS AWESOME! Congrats!
Would you entertain the idea of getting SAT Cards from Fold? They are getting into the BTC gift card game in a pretty big way.
I went to a meeting last week at PubKey in NYC where the CEO was speaking, and they were giving away $25 BTC gift cards.
I just figure if the first guys a hater, Fold might be a better option for future events
I am pretty active on what is known as Crypto Twitter (CT). And although folks dabble in other currencies, most if not all, are bitcoiners.
It's where I get most if not all of my crypto news. Many of them sport orange backgrounds or laser eyes to show they are bitcoiners, and there are lots of folks who even host spaces.
Idk I say 25% because not everyone is on Twitter, but most of the folks on CT are def bitcoiners.
Yo! I love it, and want to use it A LOT, but it appears I'm blocked on several portions of the site. What do I need to do?
commenting to come back to this so i can research it more when i have time. im new and want to know the purpose of purchasing a device that has the first 900k blocks already downloaded and verified. what is the benefit?
Stable Coin Summer was one of our topics for our annual NOTNFTNYC event. One of the discussions was around how the emergence of all these new stables will create T+0 opportunities for businesses, and after fully understanding that, I couldn't be more bullish.
I'll admit I'm not smart enough to know the impact it will have overall, why one stable is better than another, or which stables are most likely to survive.
But what I gathered was more stable coin options = overall good.
whatever they do. document it. and have them post it on youtube/tiktok/insta/fb.
make money while making money.
hell, they could probably live stream their journey on tik tok and twitch and make $100 in a day.
Thank you for that thoughtful response. I was a writer for my local rag in college. I got to interview a lot of cool artists, Korn, Three 6 Mafia, LMFAO, Slipknot, The Used and a ton of others. It didn't pay a lot, but maaaaan was a $50 - $175 check a huge blessing during that time.
I still work a day job, but since then I've done podcasts, hosted spaces, worked for projects on the side, and now I'm at an odd crossroads, with my day job, life, and media stuff, and that's cool too. So I get the idea of pursuing a bunch of things.
Losing it has kind of put it all in perspective. Right now, as a side gig for my media efforts, I am working on what I would consider one of the most important pieces of content I have ever created, and although the pay isn't huge, it is going to a very strong audience.
This opportunity feels like a second chance that has the potential to open a lot of doors. And that's fucking exciting.
Life kind of feels new. I see the world a little different now. When you lose it all, you appreciate all the little things you have to be thankful for, and you really see every opportunity you have around you.
A shift is happening, and I'm fucking here for it!
So, I'm in an odd place. My kids are grown and youngest is at college. This is the first time we have had...idk, peace and quite and time.
I have spend the past two decades chasing, doing, picking up, dropping off.
I had to put every project in a bucket of time. Now I'm just chilling.
But here are some projects that I will be working on next:
-ALL OF US RADIO website
-Creating packages for NOTNFTNYC
-A new video ad for my friends at The Public Bored
-Content Ideas
-Figuring out IRL streaming
-Knocking out some audio clips for spaces and shows
But first, I'm gonna enjoy watching the leaves turn colors with my wife.
I have a lot of time, so I'll get to it soon, but when I see fit.
I love it. I may come here from time to time to rest my cowboy hat, assuming I still have one. How do I keep losing it? Am I leaving it somewhere?
thanks man. there really is something kind of freeing when you lose it all. it makes you appreciate it that much more. Your priorities shift. You realize what's most important.
Still have my health, my mind, my love, and an ability to keep stacking.
and even if we aren't we are exactly where we need to be. can't wait to hear @realBitcoinDog's story.
Matt & Shane Gillis have a GREAT take on this: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/TF24ZYEQrRU
