Internet native money. A zap is a tip you recieve for the value you gave in return in the form of content. Like a good waitress/waiter that made people feel good with themselves and got tip. Is like cash when you have it in your hands but digital (no permission to ask, no bank to account for YOUR money).

As long as we price things against USD anything can be manipulated. We saw paper Bitcoin on the FTX fiasco, which lets me thinking that other exchanges will have the audacity and ability to do so as well. As the comment above me pointed out, the only way to get rid of manipulation is to take self custody of your corn.

There is a couple in spanish (that I know of) The Bitcoin Standard and The sovereign Individual, the other might be a little harder to find out online because they're relatively new.
