Hey! Finally I can ask this: "the Guy who's read more about bitcoin than anyone else you know"... Well, can you show us your book shelf, or the amount in your library on your e-reader?

The fiat standard describes a lot about fiat money, fiat food, fiat buildings, etc. Fiat love is also a thing. So, we need more people, especially woman, in bitcoin! There are a lot of male techies already in bitcoin, as this is still too new for the average. Change is coming.

And of course there is more to it. Costs for a baby, etc...

If you want to read a book about this period I highly recommend When Money Dies by Adam Fergusson (https://yewtu.be/watch?v=BmGCgkSDehw).

If you get paid in btc, make sure to provide a xpub, so they don't transfer it to the same address. And make sure that this xpub is clean and doesn't have past transactions. Perhaps a new account in the derivation path is enough. Furthermore, make sure to log the amount in btc and the fiat value each time for taxing purposes (if applicable). Later you can show this as proof if they want to get you.

If your node runs only behind Tor, will it work? I'm trying to configure it, but I think I'm missing something. Do I need to install LNSocket software on my node to make it work?

For the experts, next to μBlock Origin, μMatrix is also very good to use (also mady by Raymond Hill). It blocks specific connections by type (cookie, css, image, XHR, media, scripts, (i)frames or others) and per (sub-)domain and 3rd party domains. Sadly it is deprecated.

I agree on your 2 points but not on the what you think the catalysts could be.

I think the introduction of the CBDC worldwide will be adapted very easily because it will be a gift from your government on introduction (or later people will need support from the government thus makes it easy to introduce this). But when all these people see the side effects of being punished by buying meat, going on holiday by airplane, negative yield, etc, will be the moment people will search for alternatives to obtain the privacy what they lost. Slowly they will talk with each other about the benefits and being the solution. At that time bitcoin will be more mature with more privacy and will have better UX. Then we can welcome these people who didn't study bitcoin like us, and have no economic knowledge, but want to use it because they understand they lost their freedom and want to flee the eyes from above.

I think in that moment bitcoin will thrive to become a real medium of exchange after now being a store of value. After the hyperbitcoinisation will bitcoin be a unit of account.
