The next day, when Bruno the beaver asked him for help building his dam, Nico took a deep breath and replied:

"Sorry, Bruno, but I need some time for myself today. I'm tired and want to rest."

Bruno looked at him in surprise, but then nodded. From that moment on, Nico started to say "no" when he felt he needed him. Instead of helping everyone all the time, he dedicated himself to taking care of his own den, enjoying the sunshine and happily jumping around the forest without any worries.

Over time, the other animals understood that Nico couldn't do everything for them. Some started to support each other instead of always depending on him. They even organized themselves to help the rabbit when he needed something, like bringing fresh carrots or taking care of his rabbit.

Nico's life changed for the better. He learned that helping is good, but taking care of yourself is just as important.  And the whole forest flourished with a spirit of cooperation and balance.

Moral: Being generous is wonderful, but we must remember that even the biggest hearts need rest and self-care. Helping others should not mean forgetting to help ourselves.

In Japan, more than 9,000 small and medium-sized businesses directly linked to the three automakers are already preparing to close.

 Most of these small companies are those with archaic and non-technological production processes. 

There are still thousands of factories in Japan with production processes that are more archaic than those in China and South Korea. It is surreal how we still find companies operating under these conditions in Japan in 2025. 

The trend is towards modernization and direct cuts in the workforce in more than 9,000 small factories. 

On the other hand, the surplus workforce from these job closures will feed other segments that need labor. 

In Japan, for the unskilled employees / in the sense of those without any university or technical training at high school level / who feed the manufacturing industries, the days of work are starting to be numbered. 

Japan already has a plan to use qualified labor from engineers and technicians from Vietnam, India and Indonesia for new modern and high-tech factories. 

 For us, the unskilled, we will have a lot of work in agriculture, elderly care, food industry, and various services, but salaries do not exceed ¥1,100 an hour without overtime. 

As in any country in the world where the best salaries are for those who have studied and are over the age of 30, Japan is on par with the rest of the world. 

There is no advantage in speaking Japanese in Japan, we are simply on par with the unqualified Japanese like us. 

Reality took a while, but it has arrived for us who have always been skeptical. 

In the backyard factories that hire more than 80% of South American foreigners, the days are numbered. 

Will we be prepared for a job interview without translators? Will we be prepared to move to another region depending on the demand for jobs? Will we be able to rent a house or apartment in another region? Will we be able to look for jobs that pay more than ¥1,800 an hour? 

It is up to us to reflect.

Honda-Nissan-Mitsubishi merger:

The Austrian National Library houses an extraordinary 16th-century manuscript, considered one of the rarest literary curiosities. 

This miniature masterpiece contains Dante Alighieri's "Divine Comedy" in Italian in an incredibly small format. 

The book is so small that the writing is barely legible to the naked eye. The pages measure just 24 x 15 mm and the entire block of the book is only 18 mm thick. It is considered the smallest manuscript in the library's collection. 

The font consists of 11 lines per page in an incredibly filigree calligraphy, probably made with a magnifying glass. 

In addition, the book is decorated with around 30 extremely fine pen and ink drawings, as precise and artistic as the writing itself. These drawings give the work an artistic depth that goes far beyond the mere reproduction of the text. 

This unique manuscript is not only a technical marvel, but also a testament to the extraordinary skill and dedication of the writing craft of the time.  It is a testament to the veneration that Dante and his “Divine Comedy” have held for centuries.

These works are not only cultural treasures, but also a reminder of the possibilities of human art and dedication, even on the smallest scale.

In a small town, a farmer named Ernesto lived alone in an old house surrounded by fields. His only companion was a large black pig named Bartolo. Ernesto had raised him since he was a piglet and said that Bartolo was special, almost human. He often spoke to him as if he could understand him.

Ernesto tried to retreat, but Bartolo stood on his hind legs, as tall as a man. In a deep, guttural tone, the pig spoke: "You gave me your company... Now you will give me your soul." Before Ernesto could flee, Bartolo attacked him with a strength impossible for an animal. The farmer's screams were lost in the night. The next morning, the neighbors noticed that Ernesto's pig was loose, wandering around the town. When they approached the farm, they found no trace of the farmer, only deep marks in the ground, as if someone had been dragged into the forest. Since then, every full moon, the inhabitants say they hear strange laughter and heavy footsteps approaching their homes.  Some say that if you see the black pig at your door, you shouldn't look it in the eye... Or you'll end up like Ernesto.
