He and his posts will surely be missed. Good luck @DarthCoin!
The similarities are undeniable.
With a plus to our solution, which makes it a one click option to any newcomer to have a lightning wallet.
But frankly, more similar solutions will make adoption even faster. So, keep them coming!
Nice idea. It is quite similar to our Send Bitcoin by Email functionality launched in June 2023.

Hello, thanks for your interest. You can start a campaign directly at https://satsforads.net/advertise.php or you can DM us on Twitter (@Walletano).
For example we provide advertising messages to lightning addresses on satsforads.net.
On interactive campaigns, we send unique URLs to each lightning address to claim even more sats. These unique URLs are something like: https://satsforads.net/v/ZzVs-2-fce61af57ac94ff159a3398da940830e.
Even if somebody finds this message along the way, we are good because:
- one additional view to the campaign (our advertiser will be happy as his message / content / video reaches one more user for free)
- the sats can only be claimed by the intended lightning address.
There is a pattern on most of these hacks. Hackers move the funds from one wallet (node) to another just to hide their trace. Hard to follow the money. Probably the easiest way to reduce these hacks is a temporary hold of the funds for a certain period of time. For example, if a wallet / account receives 1M Sats in a transaction, you would only allow out max 20% of this amount in the next 24 hours. If in 24 hours you receive information from other wallets concerning suspicious transactions, you can still return 80% of the funds.
Yes, I know, it can be a inconvenience for legitimate wallets / accounts, but for safety reasons it could be acceptable.
We have this function on Walletano since June...

federation of bona fide wallet providers This seems to be a great idea. How would this work? We are open to discuss about this, even privately if needed.
Don't really know what do you mean. E-Mail is sent only once, at the time of the first access. The e-mail contains a link to claim your wallet. After that, everything is Lightning.
So, you create yourname@somedomain.com by accessing https://....com/.well-know/lnurlp/yourname. An e-mail is sent to yourname@somadomain.com containing a link to claim your wallet (so only someone who has access to the e-mail address can claim the wallet). After that, anyone can send you sats from a lightning address enabled wallet to yourname@somedomain.com and you will get the sats directly to the wallet (without any e-mail notification, it is purely lightning).
Great! In under 5 minutes, you can be up and ready with your e-mail address as your lightning address!
We are also working on a very simple way to start accepting payments as a merchant directly into your Walletano wallet. A simple POS.
The first link is wrong. It has an additional "s".
Other than that @DarthCoin is absolutely the best.
Hi.
- Currently there are no limits, but most of our users use the wallet for small amounts. 2, At this moment: no. We will probably integrate onchain deposits and withdrawals that will have their own fee structure.
- At this moment, liquidity is not an issue. Most of our invoices and payments are confirmed quite fast, but of course, fast comes with some higher fees,
- Considering the latest events everything is possible, But we are not yet there, let's see what the future brings to us.
