I agree that both parties should bring this to a successful conclusion, but I cannot agree to any delays. Time is money, and wasting time means losing money.
I think this is a good initiative. Fortunately, I haven’t had any disputes on Mostro yet. It’s a fantastic tool.
Today’s a brilliant day for a free person to use Bitcoin, ha ha ha – actually, every day’s the same.
Congratulations on that recovery; I hope you can get back everything you lost in that unfortunate incident.
Two things that stick in my mind after reading your post are:
- Counterparty risk: We should never leave our Bitcoin with these exchanges. (It’s a latent danger)
- Consumer society: Most of us think exactly the same thing whenever we receive some extra money – we think about how to spend it!

It’s true, we have no way of knowing. That’s why the best thing to do is to hold onto your Bitcoin and do nothing else but accumulate more.
I prioritise security; in my opinion, it’s not worth spending sats on an expensive device when we can do it cheaply – for example, using a USB stick with TailOS. Create an offline seed with Blue Wallet + a passphrase and restore the seed in Electrum from TailOS.
It is worth noting that a standard USB stick is more discreet than any other device designed specifically for Bitcoin.

I can confirm that here where I live (SOUTH AMERICA) there are lots of mosquitoes, and now that it’s the rainy season, their numbers are multiplying. The heat has been quite unbearable over the last few weeks.
BITCOIN doesn’t pay interest, but I can eliminate counterparty risk. So, I’m better off with Bitcoin.
