This price is once again crying out for the hoe. For work. For that primal feeling that nothing of value comes without sweat. Bitcoin’s volatility hasn’t punished us. It has rewarded us. It has pushed us back, not into poverty but into opportunity. Back to a time when rolling up our sleeves could still change everything.

For all of us former shitcoiners, this is a moment of sobriety. Not because we experimented, but because we failed to accumulate when we should have. We spent hard earned money on quick stories, on promises, on tokens that offered shortcuts. Instead of turning that work, that energy, that time into Bitcoin. We were not wrong for searching for something better. We were wrong for not understanding how sacred accumulation truly is.

Bitcoin teaches patience. It teaches time. It teaches that the energy we invest today does not disappear. It compounds. Work only makes sense if we preserve it.

Now is the time to learn new tools. Not to chase the next shiny narrative, but to use our time better. The internet gives us speed like never before. Knowledge is accessible. Anyone can create value faster than ever. But only if they work. Only if they build. Only if they take responsibility.

When the price is lower than expected, the work alarm goes off. No complaining. That is when we push harder. Produce more. Learn more. Take on more responsibility to capture more sats. When the price is higher than expected, it is time to spend. Time to return some energy back into life, family, experiences. But with limits. Because we must think about the stack that will wait for us when we are no longer a strong ASIC capable of heavy accumulation. When we grow old and the strength to mine fades, our past work will keep mining for us.

Through bitcoin I learned that my work and my spent energy do not fade through inflation. Over time they gain value. And then you realize that maybe you do not need a pension as it exists in this distorted system. Your work becomes your pension. Your accumulated energy becomes your freedom.

No more waiting. No more excuses. Price is the teacher. Volatility is the filter. Those who remain understand that wealth is not measured in fiat numbers, but in preserved energy.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough in my first post.
I don’t run a node.
Since I don’t want to mine in a regular pool and receive tiny payouts that are basically meaningless for my Bitaxe hashrate, my goal is to mine truly solo  to actually contribute and embrace the full variance.
The issue is that without running my own node, I’m not a “real” solo miner. So I’ve been considering using pools that support solo-style mining, like CKPool or Public Pool.
I wouldn’t mind running my own node. The real problem is that I don’t currently have a dedicated machine for it, and I don’t want the additional upfront cost right now. I’d rather deploy every bit of this annoying fiat I earn each month directly into Bitcoin  all in.
So for now, I’m weighing the tradeoff between ideological purity (running my own node and mining fully solo) and practical constraints.

I’m well aware that the odds of finding a block with a small machine like this are low and that’s completely fine.
The real goal here isn’t the block reward.
I’m doing this to learn more about the mining process, to get hands on experience with how Proof of Work actually functions in practice, and to contribute in my own small way to the Bitcoin network. I also want to help educate others about why decentralization matters and hopefully motivate someone else to experiment and participate.
I’m about to start mining, but I haven’t chosen a pool yet. I’m currently deciding between the public Bitaxe pool and CK Pool, and I want to explain my thought process so others can follow along and maybe share their perspective.
For my first miner, I’ll be using a Bitaxe Gamma 1.1. I fully understand that the probability of finding a block with this kind of hardware is extremely low, so I’m planning to mine through a pool. What I find interesting is comparing the open community driven philosophy behind the public Bitaxe pool with the more established infrastructure and reputation of CK Pool.
By documenting this decision process, from evaluating payout models and variance to considering decentralization and long term goals, I hope to make things clearer for others who are new to mining.
I plan to document everything and publish it on our channel @bitchamler, including setup, configuration, performance metrics, power usage, and the reasoning behind each choice I make.
This is only the beginning.
I’m also planning to build a small off grid solar power system that could later support stronger hardware, with the eventual goal of running an Antminer S19 as a solo miner. Not because it is the most profitable route, but because it represents a more sovereign and educational approach to mining.
Home mining powered by your own energy and connected directly to the network is decentralization in action.

What “scrap” means in the concept and idea of the BitChamler project

The country this project comes from is a country full of talented and hardworking people. Serbia can proudly say that it has produced great individuals in science, sports, and art, but over the last thirty years it has also produced a large number of politicians and dictators who have plunged this country into darkness. A narrative has been created in which the only solution is that, if you are successful, you leave the country and go somewhere abroad.

Corrupt media have pushed society into a state of complete disorientation and lack of information. Reality shows and lies are being pushed, both through national frequencies and through their digital branches. Bitcoin is barely mentioned, and when it is, the focus is exclusively on price and the alleged insecurity of that market.

BitChamler emerges during a period of student struggle against the current dictatorial government, which for over a year has been using violence and clearly demonstrating that almost all institutions in this country are in the hands of the ruling party. The health of society is being destroyed through the privatization of nature, the expansion of mining, and the purchase of land from households in order to launch projects such as Rio Tinto and lithium mining.

Waste, in the concept of our idea, is all of that.

It is incredible how Bitcoin can be read as a solution in almost every current issue. When you find and adopt a better version of money, you begin to repair the world around you as well. Student-led, decentralized mass protests clearly show what it means to have a network of people aligned around one core idea, even when there are many differing opinions. Plenum-based organization, where every participant in the student movement has an equal voice without hierarchy, is producing visible results.

The current government is losing control and desperately clawing to remain in power, while at the same time boasting about victories in future elections, even though those very elections have not been called for months. In this context, it is difficult to say anything positive about the very concept of elections.

In our project, waste is metal, and a clean environment is the river we clean. However, on a deeper level, the story is about orange pilling people, presented in a fun and accessible way. We talk about better money and about ways in which, through Bitcoin, we can become free and become creators of our own independent financial and social world.

Waste is metal, but it is also a metaphor for a broken system, a pseudo-green agenda, social networks, and false narratives. Sats are satoshis, the smallest units of Bitcoin, but they also represent the transformation of something without value into something that gains value over time. It is work for the community, cleaner nature, Nostr as an alternative, and energy born from mud and despair. That energy turns into a spark that I hope will spread through the growing adoption of Bitcoin and the way of thinking that I see, feel, and hear within the Bitcoin community.
