I'd say, it won't be necessary unless you don't fully trust the kid
Best is to monitor what the kids do, keep the communication open and establish clear rules about internet use, such as not sharing personal information, not talking to strangers, and only visiting approved websites.
You nailed it, the absolute paradox of our time, where the old paradigm of 'work hard to succeed' no longer function, and most of us are looking for alternative, and end up stacking bitcoins, in the hope that the old system will eventually collapse ...
AI is like this kid in school who talked a lot, and led by the attention he received from other kids, started to invent stuff to keep everyone entertained...
In a study of 200,000 ostriches over a period of 80 years,
no one reported a single case where an ostrich buried its head in the sand.
Traditional Social media platform:
- Sell ads
- Keep you addicted
- Use a secret profit algorithm you cannot inspect
- Can ban you
- Filled with bots and spam
This is why I prefer #nostr
