I have built this service, it's a web app written in Rust.

The app is connected to a Lightning node. Here is how it works:

Alice and Bob login using their Lightning wallet.

Alice is looking for a freelancer. She creates a new task visible to everyone. She puts a budget of 100,000 sats for it.

Bob is looking for a task related to his skills. He is interested by Alice's task. He submits an offer of 150,000 sats.

Alice receives a notification about Bob's offer. She finds the profile of Bob interesting. She accepts his offer.

An Lightning invoice of 150,000 sats is provided to Alice (generated by the app).

Alice pays the invoice using her Lightning wallet, and the amount is kept in the Gigsats escrow.

Bob starts to work and delivers quickly the work for the task.

Alice reviews the work of Bob. She marks the task as completed.

150,000 sats are transfered from the Gigsats escrow to the balance of Bob's account.

Bob withdraws 150,000 sats instantly to his Lightning wallet.

Using bitcoin in daily life remains a challenge. For many, the nearest bitcoin-accepting location is miles away. While introducing a newcomer or merchant to Bitcoin by setting up a wallet and gifting sats is a start, it often leads to the question: "What now?"

Legends of Lightning Roadmap:
With the groundwork we’ve laid from the work at TabConf we are prepared to move the project forward in several ways: namely the spec/protocol layer, the supply (server) side implementations and the demand (client) side appliations.

Initiative #1: Protocol Layer
Our goal is to build off the work at Tabconf and make Data Buffets even more useful and extensible as compared to before:

Add a Reputation Layer: Use NIP-57 Zap Receipts as an ingredient to a new Review type note that captures the quality, honesty and speed delivered by a service provider. The reputational score will add another criteria by which clients can search and hopefully encourage competition and high quality service from service providers.

Improve Composability Through Input/Output Hashes - use SHA256 hashes to compress the schema information down into a single string to make it easier for clients to search for, discover and chain together requests from disparate service providers into unique applications.

Initiative #2: Supply Side Improvements
We want to improve the quality of templates and resources available for new developers on NIP-105. We’ve identified these a few key initiatives:

Refine the Template App: improve the server implementation and make high quality docs that make it simple for new devs to bring supply online.

Data Buffet Dev Kit (DBDK) - tooling to make the innards of the DB processes as black box and simple as possible for would be devs.

Educate: create tips, videos and tutorials on how to deploy a NIP-105 service including graphics on the steps involved to successfully bring your supply online.

Automate: create tools/dev ops pipelines that make it as simple as possible for users to input the appropriate variables such as pricing & LNAddress and immediately bring supply online with a click of a few buttons.

Initiative #3: Client Side Improvements
We want to create captivating user experiences from the client side. I think these efforts will fall mainly under two categories:

Visual pipeline building/learning/discovery through an application like Cascdr

A client that is well suited for exploring NIP-105 services

Searching by category/offering

Showing by “rank”/reputation

Additionally there are some other goals we want to pursue, time permitting:

Optimizing Based on User Preferences: Allow the user to select the combination of pricing/speed/reputation they’d like to employ for their application.

Exporting/Deploying Macros: allow users to take basic building blocks, construct visually, then export in some deterministic way that can then be turned into a “macro” service that they could likewise serve up to prospective customers.

AI Builders: make it to the point where an AI could take a vague request from a user and make that into a pipeline with the building blocks available.

Add New Demos & Services: pioneer new ways to create value with L402 API modules and combine them in ways that shows the power of lightning, nostr and Data Buffets!

Our project is ambitious. We like it that way. We think that L402s and tools like Nostr will change the world. And we want to be a part of it!

I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and reflect on how my early interest in decentralized systems shaped the creation of Bitcoin and what it means for you. This journey may seem a bit technical at times, but it's an exciting one, I promise. Let's jump in! 

Satoshi Nakamoto - The Enigma Who am I, you ask? I am Satoshi Nakamoto. You may be familiar with my name, but my real identity? That's a secret. Why the mystery, you wonder? Well, sometimes it's best to let the work speak for itself. Plus, the focus should be on the innovation - the decentralized digital currency - not the innovator. 

Understanding Decentralization Let me explain what I mean by "decentralization". Picture a network where power, information, or capabilities are distributed among various nodes, with no single node having complete control. Sounds interesting, right? It's like a city with multiple power plants. If one fails, the city doesn't plunge into darkness because the other plants pick up the slack. That's the beauty of decentralization!

Now, think about a financial system without a central bank or authority. That's Bitcoin. But we'll get to that. 

Satoshi's Vision My dream was always to create something that wasn't beholden to a central authority, something that could empower individuals. That's how Bitcoin was born. I outlined my vision in a whitepaper titled "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System". It was about creating a financial system where trust, not a central entity, governed transactions. 

The Advent of Bitcoin To turn my theory into practice, I created the Bitcoin network. The first block of this network, fondly known as the Genesis Block, holds a particular importance to me. Embedded within it, I left a message - "Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks". It was a nod to the instability of centralized financial systems, an indication of why Bitcoin's decentralization was necessary. 

Satoshi's Legacy Fast forward to now, the impact of Bitcoin's creation has been more profound than I could have ever imagined. Bitcoin was just the beginning. Today, thousands of cryptocurrencies continue the legacy, transforming economies and societies. 

Conclusion Reflecting on the past, it's heartening to see the ideas of decentralization take root and flourish. The world has come a long way, and there's still so much more to explore. I encourage all of you to delve deeper into the fascinating world of Bitcoin.
