An alternative to Mac? Due to the Gofetch flaw on M1, M2 and M3. Explore Linux

Pop Os! is a great way to enter the linux world with an out of the box type of solution.

This unpatchable Apple flaw on their M1, M2, and M3 chips is keeping a lot of people up.

If you are in the market to replace your apple computer, one alternative could be a System76 an American company from Colorado with intel chips. I've been a happy customer since 2021. This is not a paid ad.

All their products support Pop Os! a Linux distribution supported by System76. Which is open source. They have several desktop, laptop and mini computer options. 

My personal favorites the Desktop model Thelio and Mini computer Meerkat models.

I was thinking about watches and bitcoin and realized that UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) watches are gaining popularity and are no longer only for pilots or sea captains. Anyone can use them, specially those who stack bitcoin and verify their transactions on the timechain which uses UTC time. The great advantages of UTC watches is basically they can track between 2-3 time zones. Local time and two additional time zones. Usually pilots set their secondary time as UTC.

Here's my take on Satoshi's daily beater. Given Satoshi Nakamoto's association with Japan – whether as an individual or a group – it's plausible to speculate that a Japanese watch model would align with their preferences for timekeeping. While the true identity of Nakamoto remains a mystery, let's consider a hypothetical choice: Model: Seiko Prospex GMT Diver Seiko, a renowned Japanese watchmaker, is celebrated for its precision, reliability, and innovation. Here's the list with an extra dash of humor, where are you on your journey with Bitcoin ?

Level -1: The Sheep - Baaa! Clueless about fiat, still thinks money grows on trees (and follows the herd, of course!)

Level 0: Paycheck to Paycheck - Living on the edge, one missed payment away from ramen noodles for life... and a permanent seat on the couch. Uses a PC with Microsoft software 

Level 1: The 401k Guy - On track to retire by 70, but still wondering what a "Bitcoin" is... and why it's not just a fancy type of coffee 🤔

Level 2: The Saver - Finally has an emergency fund, but still uses a piggy bank... and thinks it's a "high-yield" investment 🐖

Level 3: The Investor - Thinks diversification means having both Tesla, Nvidia, Apple, Google stocks... and a few Bitcoin ETFs for "fun" and has a rental home . Chasing a 10% return when inflation is 5%🤦.
His daily computer is a Mac with a M1, M2, M3 chip.

Level 4: Trance State - Stacks Bitcoin on hot wallets and exchanges... and regularly checks their balance in their sleep 💸. Has sold the rental home. Uses a Mac with intel chip 

Level 5: The Hodler / Pleb - Still holding onto Bitcoin from the previous bear runs, stacks Bitcoin on a cold wallet... and has a permanent "HODL" tattoo or Bitcoin merch. Owns a Jade , Coldcard or Trezor One , or bitbox or a similar cold wallet  💪. 

Level 6: The Node Runner - Does dollar-cost averaging in a recurring way, saves Bitcoin on a cold wallet... and actually understands what a "node" is (no fancy word needed! He can speak about umbrel or start9 pros and cons) . He is willing also to be “Uncle Jim” and share his node for the family or community 💻.

Level 7: The Miner - Dollar-cost averages in a recurring way, uses a cold wallet, node... and has a mining rig in their basement, a permanent layer of dust on their shoulders, and his local Bitcoin community knows him as a superhero 💥 . He probably uses multi-signatures. Most likely doesn’t own stocks or a 401k pension fund. Uses Linux as his daily computer .
