I have a question.. What is the philosophy behind these down zaps.. If I down zap you, for example, will you lose the same amount??? Or does it have negative effects for you and make your posts less visible, like the algorithm of other social networks?? Or if I want to zap you, for example, 100 satoshis down, it doesn't matter like zapping, it will be deducted from my account, and if yes, where will those 100 go?
I have a question, I would be grateful if someone could answer... Will these people who download zap get the same number of satoshis from their account?
Yes, I really came to my senses this time with a cold slap in the face and I'm listening to you. Since the podcasts are in English, I'm looking for a way to dub them and listen to them all. I'll come back when I've learned the bare minimum.
You're right, I'm really illiterate that I don't even know what Bitcoin is among you, it's really ridiculous and funny even to learn ... But I had to because I live in a country where the whole world wants to destroy it .... I had to come here and learn everything from scratch because in my country there is no place to teach anyone who wants to learn something... I apologize for being where I don't belong and the presence of people like me there is very funny
Thank you, I really understood what it is... It must be Lightning to transfer here? Does that mean I must have lightning to pay for posting and commenting and zipping others???
I am honestly speechless. Thank you @DarthCoin for taking the time to mention me and share these resources. I have to admit, I don't use TikTok, I spend my time behind a sewing machine! But I will definitely take your advice and spend time every day listening to these, even if my English is not perfect and I have to use a translator for some parts.
I'm starting to realize that Bitcoin is much bigger than just a price on a screen. Thank you for pushing me to think deeper. I have a lot of 'homework' to do now!
I hope it will be like this. I bought it at 68,000 dollars and thinking about it, if it reaches 115,000 dollars like two months ago, I will go crazy with happiness. 😂😂😂😂
I am definitely not educated and experienced enough to comment on this topic, but I wanted to say very briefly that before I came here, I did not know about giving or receiving satoshis instead of likes and unlikes. And my only goal and concern was to solve my questions for which I could not find the right answer anywhere and to reach the right answer... But after leaving a comment and asking a question, I was surprised because very soon they guided me and gave me some Satoshi to ask my question. In most of the posts I posted, I saw that there are people here who really have a very high level of knowledge and literacy, and this is extremely valuable... In fact, I think that if there is no discussion of Satoshi, even if there is a monthly subscription fee to be here, many people will still come and work here because this is a big university for people who want to learn. Oh, I'm sorry, I wanted it to be short, but it got longer than long
This is a very powerful way to look at it. Being able to 'escape with my UTXOs' is exactly why I started looking into Bitcoin—because physical assets are easily taken during war. But I guess as a beginner, I’m still learning to detach myself from the 'price' and focus on the 'ownership.' Thank you for reminding me of the bigger picture
lol No, on the contrary, there is no elephant at all, but this proverb is often repeated where it can be used
I asked a simple question... I don't know why you felt this way, but really, I am a tailor in the city of Kermanshah in Iran
no I don't intend to escape from the war zone at all... I meant the general price of bitcoin if a big war happens because of Iran's position in eastern Mina and the oil that is spread daily from this region to other parts of the world .... If there is a war, oil will be exported to the world for a long time or less or no oil will come out of the region for a long time and this will cause the price of oil to multiply.
Thank you, this makes a lot of sense to me. It's a bit relieving to hear that the problem comes from these big institutions and not Bitcoin itself. In my country, we say "when the elephants fight, it's the grass that suffers." I guess I just have to be patient and not panic like those institutions did
thank you for your explanation.. Yes, I know that I buy bitcoins to hide my money and traces of my transactions, but besides this, it is important to me that the value of what I buy is maintained and does not suddenly drop again. Because this way, I will still lose our relationship and it doesn't matter to me
I'm sorry, but I don't agree with you at all, I don't think like you, because my only reason for buying Bitcoin is to preserve the value of my money and capital, and if I don't think about it and ask why it has fallen and buy Bitcoin without being convinced or even guessing that it might grow again, then I'm crazy. I don't know what your feelings and beliefs are about Bitcoin, and I value your opinion, but I don't think so. And why bitcoin is now cheap and what was the reason and whether it may grow again or not is very important to me in buying bitcoin and making this decision.
Thanks for archiving this. The fact that it's removed from YouTube is exactly why decentralized storage matters. Content disappears when it challenges the narrative.
The debate itself is timeless. Bitcoin is neutral tech, but states fear losing their monopoly on violence and funding. It's not about what Bitcoin enables, but what it disables (censorship, inflation).
Appreciate you keeping this history alive. These old discussions remind us why we're really here.
