Why twitter what?
If you are running a custodial wallet and your main objective is Bitcoin adoption and user self-custody, then you are not making your app profitable because people will be leaving your app or using it with less BTC. But I guess it might work, maybe in the long term you will create a good reputation as a simple to use wallet which educate they users with a complete section where explains the keypoints of self-custody. I can imagine an app as simple as wallet of satoshi with a button in the menu with articles about this matter. So it's possible with a good UI.
"it's very true about the lack of technological structure for everything to work properly, but being able to use BTC for everything is really a pleasure."
What's that lack of tech structure?
I'm working on my brain and in getting to understand more about LN/Bitcoin. 1% of improvemente every day will get me where I wanna be.
In the current world imagination and education are priviliges, imo. I think something more is needed and is making Bitcoin simpler. Or, on the other hand, like I said previously, a revolution that begins with fiat colapsing will cause Bitcoin to be used by force
So u agree with me that some implementations need to be done in order to outreach more people and teach them about Bitcoin? Or do you think that when the current Fiat order collapses is when people will be forced to move into Bitcoin?
Yeah I did read your guide. Still is a lot of info to process. Keep sure that I'll get to digest it completely, tho. Thanks again mate!
Now I understand. Thanks. I'll have to keep learning what's the best way to store my sats since I've been earning them from the LN. They'll have to take a long route to be on the mainnet I guess 😅
Thanks for the exhaustive explanation and the related article. I read it and I still have doubts in this aspect:
"For each payment you are doing, this wallet is using quite high fees, compared with other nodes. Yes, somehow they have to cover their expenses and support the dev team"
Which payment? I don't get that clear enough.
