This is a pretty cool observation. These kinds of things (languages, traditions, religions, monies) are webs that get stronger when there are more connections of any sort. In such systems, the rules get negotiated over time -- but Bitcoin is the first time (perhaps the Internet was first?) where almost anyone on earth can participate in the negotiating in real-time.

Just a light suggestion: if you use a few headings (# + a space before a line) it will make the reading a little easier, even for somewhat rambling posts.
