Big day for me today:
- @k00b convinced me to try OMAD. I did eat more than once today, but it was all within a four hour period. I'll try to tighten that up further tomorrow.
- @gnilma and @398ja convinced me to try a cold shower. I eased into it, by starting it warm and gradually turning down the temperature. That was totally manageable.
How did you do today? What do you need to work on tomorrow?
Ate 90% single ingredient foods - do that and tons of eggs, meat, Greek yogurt, you’ll get ripped.
Cold soak- 10 minutes, I started with the showers.
Did some core & weights.
Oh yeah and won a 5k race over people 1/3 and 1/2 my age!
Badass
Gradually then suddenly, you got it
WINNER WINNER
At mid 40’s not sure how many I have left in me. My wife said I have a little hitch in my gitty up from that plantar fasciitis, lol.
giddy up cowboy
I ordered a Panera salad!
Better than an entire cake
🤓
Better than Haliburton tonight
Good for you for trying out a cold shower. The next step is to do it on a regular basis.
I woke up at 6:30am to go for my Sunday long run. Didn't end up doing a true long run (I consider 15km+ to be long runs), because it was getting too hot and I wanted to get home early enough to cook breakfast for my kids, so I called it after running 12km. Fried some pork breakfast sausages for my kids and myself for breakfast. It got pretty hot today, so we decided to head to the beach late in the morning after breakfast. The beach was much cooler because of the winds. It's great to chill with my family and watch the kids have fun. I love Sundays, I love day offs.
Today's stats:
Noice, way to crush it. I love the Sunday long run. With two young kids and just doing shorter races now, I miss those.
It's a great time to listen to podcasts or just think about stuff / sort things out in the mind.
Yup love podcasts on the run!
Sounds like a great day
That's impressive!
