In sports, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. This time Portugal played better and deserved winning the UEFA Nations League. Congrats all Portuguese fans and, especially , @0xbitcoiner.
I could not watch the entire match due to some commitments, though the part I watched, Portugal was causing a lot of trouble to the Spanish defense. At the end of the match, the result was 2-2 with Cristiano Ronaldo, 40, scoring the equalizer. This led initially to the extra time and, subsequently, after the same result at the 120 minutes of play, to a penalty shootout.
Morata missed the fourth penalty and left Rúben Neves with the chance of scoring the winning goal. He did not miss and Portugal became second time Champion of the Nations League.
Tomorrow, Football Madness keeps going with the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

I’m not really into the whole CR7 vs Messi thing, but a friend sent me this and I thought it was pretty funny!
reply
That was funny! Do you think CR7 will keep going to next year's World Cup?
reply
If he doesn't end his career, I bet he will.

It's going to be interesting watching CR7 or Messi against the whole bunch of new rising (and young) stars. Perhaps they are not able to play a full match but their skills are still there.

It was a very close match. Let’s go World Cup Qualifiers.

Indeed! Spanish squad is full of young players. I think losing this game might be good looking ahead of next year's World Cup. We will see!
