“I’m a student in Malawi. I sell rice to survive. Rent, food, school—it’s all on me. The kwacha keeps crashing. So I started stacking sats. Just 300/day. Small moves, big hope. Bitcoin is my plan B.”

Welcome to SN! How did you find us?
reply
Thanks! I discovered SN while searching for Bitcoin insights and stories from around the world. What do you recommend I check out first here?

Whatever you are interested in. There are a lot of great territories.

Thanks! I’m still exploring the different territories — ~econ already feels like home because I'm trying to use Bitcoin to build a small rice-selling business here in Malawi. It’s cool seeing how people are applying Bitcoin to real problems. I’ll definitely keep looking around and learning more!

Are you the farmer of the rice you sell?
reply
Yes, I am! I grow some of the rice myself and also order more to meet demand. It’s a small business that helps me support my studies and stack sats.

Cool! Is it a family farm?
reply
Yes, it's a small family farm! We work together to grow rice, and I also order some extra to meet demand. It’s how I support my studies and stack sats. 🌾⚡
