Simple donation page

this is great! We definitely need more tools for donations and crowdfunding. What are the other options apart poligon? it's the code you are working n open source?
How is the tarot app you mentioned a few weeks ago going?

Re: the tarot stuff, I put it on the backburner, will come back to it eventually

This was the sensible easy default option, because the donation page is for something that will ultimately use funds on Polygon, and accepting USDC/USDT is easier than timing sales of other stuff. This is me messing around with basic Tailwind / Radix
The RainbowKit / Wagmi wallect connector tool worked quite well (the widget up top). It makes it easy to donate / transact in a few taps on my iPhone. I had some issues with the metamask sdk and losing connectivity / weird state issues

Is definitely a good result for just messing around. Make sure you include bitcoin in the list!

Thanks for sharing this space, @deSign_r! I’ve been working on building my rice-selling business here in Malawi, and one idea I’m exploring is how to incorporate Bitcoin payments to attract customers who are already in the crypto space. I’m also brainstorming ways to market the rice using creative, eye-catching designs and incorporating Bitcoin themes into the packaging and branding. It’s still early stages, but I’m excited about the potential for combining a traditional product like rice with the future of payments through Bitcoin. Would love to hear any thoughts or ideas from others!

Your rice business sounds a brilliant idea! What are your ideas for creating striking packaging. What would be your brand storytelling elements to turning each bag into a conversation starter?
Have you looked at other products? for example I know there are plenty of coffee brands inspired by bitcoin, could these maybe help you define your brand?
What design elements are you planning to insert that represent Malawi, rice and bitcoin without being too obvious?

Getting round to it, but when I get some free time I'd like to have a go at vibe coding an app from Alby's new thing:
I want to make a local auction type market place for 2nd hand goods, with a similar UX to Blotto
It starts at the minimum sats price accepted for the good. As bids come in, the time extends. Highest bidder gets sent the good.
That's the basic idea anyway.

That's a slick concept - using micropayments for auctions could solve the trust and friction issues that plague traditional secondhand marketplaces. I'm really interested to see how this idea evolve.
Have you though on wich tools to use? If it can help, these are the few I've been playing with V0.ai Lovable, Bolt, Rollout, and Mocha. They are specific for Ui providing a good start to continue building up on.

That sounds like a really cool and useful idea, especially for local communities looking to trade second-hand goods in a fair and open way! I like how you're combining Bitcoin with real-world utility and bringing some fun UX like Blotto into it. I’m also building a small rice-selling business in Malawi and exploring Bitcoin as a payment option—so ideas like yours give me inspiration on how we can build more practical tools for local trade. Looking forward to seeing what you create with Alby's tools. Keep building!
