Curious — for writers who’ve been posting here for a while, how do you see the balance between earning sats and growing your readership over time? Is there a tipping point where visibility leads to steady income?
Hm, don't think I have too much to say about this. Don't see the distinction: I repost things here that were published elsewhere (AIER, Mises, Bitcoin Magazine), and it's a different audience. Feels like double-tapping since I'm using the same material in two places. (Sometimes even doubly so: I'd post some thoughts about something here, use the reflections and comments to churn out an actual article, and then republish it here when it's out.)
For "steady" income, it's more about having excellent relationships to editors at outlets that, eventually, pay you for your submissions. (What I earn from zaps are peanuts/cherries on top, compared to the major revenue flow of writing.)
