I don't think this war will be prolonged. The goal is to eliminate Iran's nuclear facilities and missiles. No American troops will be needed as long as Israel does the bombing and striking.
The initial engagement will no doubt be quick. But these things have ways getting prolonged....just wait to the next "dirty bomb" device shows up somewhere. Just as our deep-state is begging for war, so is theirs. They will use it to incite the region....

No doubt this is great news for the deep state intent on rolling back Trumps mandate. Once the next shoes drop, forgot about ICE deporting anyone...as all resources will be taken up on George W's Trumps wars
