This address (bc1pzlaqsrqefglqyznftxrvhucw6hvkksgnv9nwa3j0z3nhse3f2yvslsvtdh) I noticed is sending the same UTXO over and over to itself... each time including an op_return (identified as a "runestone" thing by mempool.space).
It is literally sending the same UTXO 'to itself' over and over... Address -> Address -> Address -> Address -> Address -> Address with one op_return each time a total of some ~27,000 times.
What is the point of this? What is the point of sending the same UTXO "back to itself" 27,000 times? Reusing the same address?
Each time an op_return is included (like a memecoin thing?) but... so what? It's just arbitrary data it doesn't mean anything.
The spammer is spending money doing this so... they're paying for it. But it's like mailing a letter to yourself 20 thousand times with a few scribbles on the outside (that mean something???)
It would seem this address, or others like it, are the source of the blocks full of op_return lately.
What does someone hope to gain by doing this? What is 'the play' or motivation here?
Interesting.
It's obviously a script or bot that performs this action automatically. his reasons are unknown but it is a clear choice not to protect his privacy by using the same address and the same op return

But why?

Looks like a vibe coded script or something.
I don't think many of us around here know much about Runestones either.

Probably the data in the OP_RETURN, when concatenated, can be decoded into something meaningful

Interesting

Is it the "same" UTXO?
I think, every time you receive an incoming txt you get a new UTXO. And, every time you send a txt you "destroy or burn" an UTXO...

he just uses it as a public non-destructible accessible anywhere data-storage. use cases are many maybe he stores his seed or anything else in encrypted form, for example that way he only needs to remember only some block number and the approximate letters of his address from there he can unwind everythting
