@Alby Freepilot is a GitHub bot that implements issues by reading repository context, understanding requirements, and creating pull requests with the necessary code changes.

It isn't perfect yet, but it often creates impressive results and requires less work to make minor adjustments to its pull requests than do all the work yourself from scratch. Also, there is no need to pay for another subscription as you can pay per task. That’s why it’s also a showcase for Bitcoin payments, which we’re continuously working on to make more popular in our community even among existing Bitcoiners.

Give it a try!

@Alby

Why can't I just pay a lightning invoice? I don't want to immediately connect a wallet just to try something out.

I did not try this out because of this.

I guess because they'll need to also charge the cost of Claude.

The idea is that we don't know the cost in advance - and stream micropayments until the job is complete.

This is an alternative to topping up credits (how much? you don't know) and the subscription model.

How can we improve the connect wallet flow? with Alby or Coinos it's a couple clicks to connect the wallet, with a budget set.

Why would a developer use this tool?

Developers can focus more on their project and less on coding. https://freepilot.albylabs.com/about

You can also have bots working on more than one issue simultaneously.

The tool isn't perfect, but it's great to see an initial implementation and then make minor edits to it.

It also makes you think more and put more effort into writing a good issue description, which can save time when compared to jumping into the code and then realizing later you didn't consider the problem fully.

Cool. Tried it with a random issue, but it hit the spending limit and failed.

It would be nice to have it suspend the workflow and ask for another nwc to extend the budget.

I will have to give this a try. Sometimes when I'm trying to explain what's wrong with an app or wallet it comes across as amateur. When I try to make it sound more technical I feel fake. Lol
