The wealth and exorbitant privilege of the US and the west generally are based upon their centuries of trade, military and banking dominance over all other nations and peoples. Life and DNA are fundamentally protocols designed to compete until death for territory and resources.

China is now the strongest productive economy and has aligned with Iran and Russia who are able to operate outside of the USD/SWIFT hegemony only because China has built its alternative trade payments protocols and China can buy their exports and provide the manufactured goods they need.

Venezuela threatened to add its oil supply to the Chinese supply but Trump regained strategic control of the Panama canal cutting of direct exports to China.

Russia has lost its naval base in Syria but continues to take Ukraine territory.

Removal of the Iran government would be a major victory for the Wests ongoing hegemony in the current multi-pronged proxy war between USA and China.

The wealth and privilege of the West is built upon the capture and control over global resources and imposition of protocols like SWIFT, World Bank and IMF which perpetuate western dominance and wealth.

China is challenging that dominance because it has the scale, cultural uniformity and beliefs capable of credibly building an alternative.
