The three little dots at the top of a post or comment, just after how long ago it was made, drops down a menu with downzapping as an option.
You can downzap whatever quantity you choose and it will go into the rewards pool.
It works the same as zapping, where increasing the amount comes with diminishing marginal returns, it's more important to have multiple stackers downzap than one downzapping a lot, and the trust level of the downzapper matters.
I didn’t really notice the downzapping option because I usually use the copy link option and look no further, even though it is in
red and bolded.I also looked at all the other options. I also doubt that I have enough trust level to affect anything with a downzap.

My approach has been to just do 1 sat. If I'm the only one, then there won't be any adverse effect. But, if others also found it objectionable, then I'm helping by increasing the count of downzaps.

That sounds reasonable. The damage done if it is only one person’s opinion is minimal and is additive if more than one person jumps in. Still, I am hesitant, especially in areas like playing Catch-the-AI games. I can understand someone who does not speak English fluently or write fluently using AI to help them out. I just don’t like seeing everything written by AI.
