The minimum pool size is 2,500,000 sats and the coordinator fee is 125k sats?
This looks like an amazing development but it seems like maybe only the rich can afford privacy.

To be fair I don't think they should bring back a 100k sat pool. Lightning is good enough for sending hundreds of dollars. Conjoins might make more sense for thousands.
Still,I think they should have a pool for 500k or something like that.

New whirlpool client.
I wonder how many will come back to use it.

Weren't there some concerns... about the previous client? The way it handled Xpubs or something I don't know I've heard conflicting things.
There's basically one Wasabi Coordinator now (which is less than ideal) plus JoinMarket ofc.

Some said all the Samurai maxis went over to monero. I'm not sure about that.
Of course Samurai and Wasabi used to sh$t on each other. Join market still going and Joinstr should be with us soon too.

Monero doesn't make sense to me. Jmo of course I could be wrong... but I don't think it's as private as they say it is.

Samourai's client would collect user xpub addresses and IP addresses by default - https://web.archive.org/web/20230417145554/https://code.samourai.io/wallet/samourai-wallet-android/-/issues/458
Ashigaru says their mobile client is Tor only and requires running your own node - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5509931.0
However, this Sparrow fork doesn't enforce the node - "The default mainnet public Electrum servers that are connected to on startup are .onion URLs to preserve user privacy."

My understanding is that Ashigaru had modified that... so the xpubs don't get collected. But perhaps I misunderstood?
No offense or anything... but how do people really know any of these services aren't just huge honeypots?
There is nothing wrong with privacy. Nothing illegal or unethical. But government might not see it that way.
