UK gov squeezing every penny out of us to try and stem the decline, local councils bankrupting themselves, and then the gov goes and spends half a mil on a new logo

They just changed the colour to blue and made the dot cyan, that's basically it.

Criminal gov wastage at its finest!

Don't forget about all the consultants they had to hire to give input on the logo and make sure it wasn't offensive to anyone. Besides me of course. I am highly offended by that dot.

i have a very charismatic friend who was doing somethign like this years back, billing suckers like 10gs for a logo and then getting some guy on fiverr to do it. amazing what some charisma will do!
