Not a bad idea since they follow the [DCO](https://developercertificate.org/) policy and genai messes with it. However, it's very verbose - I feel they could just have left it at:

and add

They cite legal reasons for not wanting to accept AI generated code. I wonder if other open source projects will follow suite
