On top of that, I still think the hot page is specific to each stacker. That's not the case with the top page, where everyone sees the same thing. Which makes total sense to me.

I think you mean the hot page should be personalized for everyone like it used to be.
If that's so I completely agree. I want to see the content that I zap and engage with mostly, not that someone else is imposing upon me.
