Wimbledon championship has reached the first weekend after 3 rounds.
At the top of the bracket, Sinner is dominating every single match. He has not lost a single set and conceded just 17 games in 3 matches. It looks like he is booking a spot in the final. Djokovic could be a likely rival in semifinals. He is doing well. He has just lost a set in the first match and winning the other two in 3 straight sets. Another player who has not lost a set, in this side of the bracket, is Ben Shelton. The American could play against Sinner in QFs and could be a tougher rival for the Italian. Talking about Italy, 3 players coming from Italy (Sinner, Sonego and Cobolli) are in the last 16 round. All of them in the top side of the bracket.
The bottom side has Alcaraz as the top seed. He struggled in the first round against another Italian, Fognini, who forced him to play 5 sets to go through to the next round. Later on , he won in straight sets to the local Tarvet. In the third round, the German Struff won one set but Alcaraz responded winning the 3rd and 4th to qualify for the last 16 round. Fritz is the only other top seed in this side of the bracket. A Chilean, Jarry, that comes from the Qualifying rounds, is still in this one and will play today against the local Norrie.
