I am a full supporter of the automated offside in football. I think that reduces the option of mistakes made by referees. It is hard to look at two places at the same time. If it works well, it's superior to humans.
I am a big fan of getting the call right.

Definitely! Before the automated system , offside was decided by a referee looking at a screen and deciding whether the player was in line with or behind the defenders or not. Unsurprisingly, whenever a big fish was involved, the decision was in favor of the big one. Also, most of times, it took a long time to get an answer. Now it's a matter of seconds and you can see the decisions are fairer.
