I, for one, welcome this kind of policy. It's very hard to enforce it as a parent when other kids are allowed to play with the phone. In Korea, a very much collectivistic society, this really can change the game. People are very receptive to policies that are supposed to help the greater good.
Starting as early as March next year, elementary, middle and high school students in Korea are expected to face a ban on using mobile phones and other smart devices during class, with additional restrictions likely to extend to school grounds outside of class hours.
How about your country, are people moving to restrict the use of phones, and by extension, social media? Is it an individual choice? Is it effective?
