Hey mudl! Twitter embeds were a couple weeks ago. It probably loads on all item pages unless I were to load it dynamically.

No websockets. Polling is easier and scales better.
Also, on this page I noticed that it gets pretty dark.
Yeah it's a bummer. One thing I can do to keep the aesthetic is flip it back to lighter and lighter, then back to darker and darker an so on, but ... otherwise the move will probably be to do the vertical line thing reddit and twitter do. Idk.
