I appreciate how you laid out the UX challenges like channel liquidity and offline receiving—not just as technical issues, but as real blockers to broader self-custodial adoption. As someone who tries to onboard new users to Bitcoin regularly, I see firsthand how quickly they give up once they run into these limitations.
The insight about scaling ownership and not just payments really hit hard. Lightning can't scale sovereign access to UTXOs, and that's what makes covenants such an important conversation.
I’m excited to see how Mutiny integrates Fedimint. Combining that with lightning gateways might be the bridge we need—until soft forks open up even better tools. Keep pushing forward; Bitcoin needs work like this to keep the dream alive.
