I am a Filipino, and using the English language is difficult for me. That’s why I ask for translations into English and respond in Tagalog. Then I ask to have my comment translated into English, because if I comment in Tagalog, others might not understand it.

You need a better prompt (or model). The current output makes you sound like a bot.

Haha fair enough Still a work in progress, but I appreciate the nudge even if it stings a bit . Got any tips on how I can make it sound better?

Don’t use a bot, write like you just did, your English is fine

reply

Thanks! That really means a lot. I’ll keep writing this way — more natural, less bot vibes haha

I will believe it when I see it and I didn't so far

reply

Totally fair 😅 Still finding my rhythm, but I’m not giving up yet. Hopefully the next posts earn it! Appreciate the honesty.

Tell it to literally translate and not add any fluff.

This is what llama 3.1 does:

>>> Translate this to Tagalog: "You need a better prompt (or model). The current output makes you sound like a bot."

"Kailangan mo ng mas magandang prompt (o modelo). Ang kasalukuyang output ay nagpapakita sa iyo na parang isang bot."

So I think it's also a model problem. No added emojis or other crap. Whether the translation is proper is up to you to judge.

Good eye! I actually use tools to help with translation and clarity, which might make my replies feel a bit “robotic.” But I’m definitely human — just trying to communicate as clearly as I can

reply

It’s not just that — your answer is practically a copy-paste of the AI’s own reply. It sounds fake, which is why it feels like a bot.

reply

Haha maybe that’s why it stands out — I tend to think a bit more deeply before replying. I don’t rush my answers because I want them to have substance and meaning. But noted! I’ll work on making it sound a bit more natural. Thanks for the observation

reply

What you write sounds like summaries, which kinda raises suspicions.

reply

I understand. Maybe it's because I'm used to writing clearly and directly, so it ends up sounding like a summary. But real talk, I'm human haha — I just try to make my points as clear and organized as possible. And the reason my messages come out well-summarized is because I use tools for translation
