More than $700,000 has been raised to benefit the truckers on Tallycoin.
Not sure what happened there at ZeroHedge. The tally so far (pun intended) shows ~2.5 BTC. At BTC/USD of $42K, that's a little more than $105K. But then just some hours ago, Bitcoin Magazine published this:
Bitcoiners have raised over 3.06 #bitcoin for the Canadian truckers since GoFundMe suspended their campaign 🇨🇦 👏
So I can't square up the difference. But even so, that 3.06 BTC, is about $128K. No idea where ZeroHedge came up with $700K. Maybe there are payments made outside of Tallycoin, and not tracked by Tallycoin? Who knows.
