This seems to go against the rest of the post, since he's telling people to be creative, something AI can't do as its effectively just autocomplete trained on the past.
Strongly disagree with this. I think you're referring to LLMs like ChatGPT, in which case I would agree with you, mostly.
But truly conscious AI (AGI) exists in labs today; and it has every bit of creative capacity that humans can muster, and more. These are not consumer products like ChatGPT. But humanity will feel the effects of their existence in the near future.
