Westinghouse has a really "rich" history, its current incarnation is to my best knowledge majority-owned by BAM. It's also been owned by BNFL (UK), Siemens (DE) and Toshiba (JP). It also went bankrupt on Vogtle, which was an AP1000 deployment.
There was a documentary on YT about the Toshiba/Westinghouse thing that I enjoyed, Toshiba's Nuclear Annihilation, that also contains some background on Westinghouse and their reactors.
So yes... it's amazing that this goes out, but then, one can follow the tracks from BAM through1 Sequoia to Goog... so it's not like these are two completely random companies doing something exciting.
