Most of these specials have been run before, they're just trying to convince buyers to take advantage of the federal incentives before they go away.

I can't speak to your budget but you should price one out because there will be some truly excellent deals this quarter and most people have no idea how affordable they are – the base Model 3 and Y are exceptional value for money, and the OS in the cars is unbeatable imo. Even if you prefer buying used, now is a great time as the $4k federal used incentive on cars listed at $25k or under is going away too and there are plenty available that qualify. For all federal incentives, you have to qualify also however.

We have a Model 3 and wouldn't buy any other car, feel free to ask any questions.

The only thing to consider is that there is a new compact model coming imminently, either this quarter or next, so if a smaller vehicle is your thing you may want to wait... -Tom
