It's hard watching someone get outdated career advice. Unless you're employed by a government, a government-contracted entity, or some highly regulated industry, there is no uninterruptible "career." There are only valuable skills, experiences, relationships, and occasionally credentialism now.
"I see on your resume you left a job shortly after starting to start a harder job where you gained more skills and experience that make you more qualified for the job I'm interviewing you for ... unfortunately, we don't hire people based on whether they do their job well as much as we look for a predictable, middling career history." lol
It's because they want slaves, not skilled contractors.
