Oh, man -- figured anyone from the older side of Gen X would have been exposed to his stuff as a kid. Probably in a tie with Weird Al as the most influential humorist/musician (and was an influence on Al).
Well, maybe that explains it. I didn't listen to weird All much either, except for "Another One Rides The Bus." Classic
