I appreciate your honesty that kind of sincerity is rare and refreshing. Even if my posts didnt click with you I still value your feedback. I will keep writing and who knows maybe one day something I post might resonate with you too. Take care and thanks again
I notice that writing about various locales tends to be appreciated. If you are based in the Philippines, write about life where you are. share some insight into culture there that might not be easy for people to discover from reading travel guides and such.
If you're worried about privacy when writing such details, you could write about something in the bitcoin space, but really spend some time getting deep on it. it's a risk because you may sink a lot of time into it and people still might ignore it, but it's better than posting surface-level stuff for six months and getting burnt out.
What really bothers me here is when someone comments and says you should be downzapped just because they think you are using AI even if they have no proof. Meanwhile others get decent replies on their posts but when it's yours you're told to leave or get out. What kind of community is that Shouldnt action only be taken if someone is being disrespectful using profanity or violating real rules This just makes it feel like the community is being controlled by certain people.
I seen a lot of posts here that are clearly copy pasted from other articles doesnt that also mean they are using AI or other sources They are just pretending to be clean. There shouldnt be any discrimination like that. It kills the vibe. Not everyone here is like that but some are and its disappointing.
I think the idea of SN is that whatever moderation happens is done by the community itself in the form of zaps, without any "official" guidance. There aren't any users who have the power to remove your posts or comments or prevent you from posting or commenting.

As far as I know, there aren't any rules. (I imagine super illegal things like making threats or such may get removed, but so far, the community hasn't had to deal with that, I don't think).

if a user tells you to leave, you are free to ignore them. If you pay the posting fee, you get to post. It's true that others aren't as likely to see your posts and comments if a lot of people downzap them. It's also true, though, that you can't force people to like you.
However, if you consistently put out interesting writing, people will notice and will zap it, and I think there will be more of them than the people who downzap.
My sense is that you should keep experimenting with different types of writing. When I first started using SN, I rarely commented on other people's work and mostly tried to write long-form articles. That may be a good way to start. Jumping into comments is more difficult in my mind because there is a wider range of topics and you might not know very much about them.
What you said was really beautiful my friend and I learned something from it. Now I understand, and I will follow what you said. Thank you so much.
Im not aiming to earn a lot I just want to be part of the future something I can look back on and say Back then I was only earning a few sats from my posts and comments but look at how much one sat is worth now.
Just like before when Bitcoin mining was practically free but I have no story to tell about that because I wasnt there to mine.
What I want is to have a meaningful story to tell in the future not for praise but because I know we are the second
I appreciate that thank you for the advice. I also come to realize that there’s real value in sharing stories about everyday life especially the kind of things you wont find in travel guides. Ill try to share more of that even little by little. And yeah I like the idea of going deeper into Bitcoin topics too. Even if its risky and might not get much attention, its better than posting surface level stuff and burning out. Really thanks again for your honest input it actually inspired me.
you know, i do read some of your posts. I'm sorry to say I don't find them very interesting. I don't care much if you use ai or not, but there's only so much time and, thus far, what you are posting hasn't grabbed me. doesn't mean you shouldn't keep trying though.
