Say you'd have a CAD model of what you want to have, a high precision resin printer, and some high end resins - what'd happen if you'd roll your own like that?
i don’t know that “high end resins” would be strong enough for some of the “high end tools needed to protect freedom. Still, working in metals is OK, you just need a CNC machine. :)

Same principle. DIY. The only problem with it is that gatekeeping government doesn't like that there's no gate. Consider open-source robots as similar. Meta said that they will probably self-censor (or use that as an excuse to not open a model), which basically has the same effect of gatekeeping. Keeping things out of the hands of the public is a problem.
"high end resins"
e.g. resins from Tethon. They have custom solutions for titanium carbides and aluminum oxides for example. Would that be strong enough?

I don’t know, I have only worked with a CNC and solid aluminum 80%ers.
