Oh sorry its just too performance intensive to have a working adblocker

I've long ago switched to brave + dns nullrouting, so that I can have zero extensions.

I switched to Brave a few months ago too, and I’m happy with it, no ads, no bullshit!

I just got this advise

reply

Nice! I haven’t felt the need to install ad blockers on Brave yet. But when I do, sounds like a solid backup.

reply

It's built-in.

Dang I wonder where all those trackers are coming from. It must be the X and YouTube embeds.

reply

All from embeds, I think.

Hmmm do you have embeds disabled in your settings? We provide that for this reason, but I still didn’t think the embeds would produce 7 “trackers.”

7 ?

I know Brave’s got a built-in ad blocker, but I thought what @carter showing was an extension on top of Brave.

reply

yeah it was a screenshot from my liberty tech signal chat, I think it is an additional extension they added to brave

chrome is not worth the headach no more since it uses hella a lot of ram usage and let alone the thousands of trackers on every website page you visit. i think it is time to switch to brave or duck since they both offers a great streaming and visiting a website is just another smooth experience you dont have to worry about anything. yup chrome is dead
